Our luxury holiday cottages are in separate locations in Derbyshire, almost 5 miles apart, giving them lovely private and peaceful settings, both surrounded by pastureland and located between the pretty historic market town of Ashbourne and the beautiful setting of Carsington Water. Both luxury holiday cottages are listed of historical interest and are full of character and charm, with beamed ceilings, feature windows, revealed stone or brick walls and cosy character fireplaces with wood stoves.

If you have a horse and wish to bring him or her, we have 10 acres of land available at Billy's Bothy and 6 acres at Hillside Croft.

We can also offer papmpering and relaxation therapies delivered by qualified therapists.

If you are looking for a perfect venue for a team building or corporate event, we can supply projector, whiteboard, laptop and WiFi connection plus teambuilding activities in the Peak District.

Billy's Bothy (sleeping 10 to 16 plus 2 cots) - ETC Gold and Silver Award

Situated at Offcote Grange, a historic coaching house dating back to the 1600s. This delightful brick-built former workers' bothy has been sympathetically restored to provide a large 5 star self-catering cottage of luxury and quality.

Billy's Bothy is an 'upside down' house and is built into a bank giving both floors ground floor access. All rooms of this luxury holiday cottage are beautifully furnished with bespoke hand-made pine and coordinated furnishings, as you would expect from a luxury holiday cottage. The lounge, with 4 comfortable sofas, sofa bed and wood burner is on the first floor and opens onto the patio as well as a double bedroom with en suite and the stunning dining room. The latter and has as its focus a hand made table with seating for 14. Off this, is a fully equipped galleried kitchen, with pine units and granite worktops and overlooking the main entrance hall. A second double bedroom with en-suite can be found off the kitchen.

The hand built oak stairs with safety gate lead you down from the kitchen to the ground floor entrance hall. On the ground floor are 2 double en suite bedrooms and 1 twin en suite bedroom with 2 fold up beds. Also on this floor but separate to the main cottage is a 6th twin en suite bedroom which can be hired with the main cottage to give a sleeping capacity of 16 plus cots. All bedrooms in this luxury Derbyshire holiday cottage have comfortable, character brass and cast iron or pine beds, WI FI and LCD TVs with free view, and are beautifully fitted for your comfort.

Hillside Croft - (sleeping up to 14) ETC Silver Award

Hillside Croft is listed as a place of historical interest (dates back to the very early 18th century) which has been empathetically brought into the 21st century. The building has been lovingly restored to provide a large self-catering holiday property with great character and quality with a warm and welcoming ambience. It is a peaceful place for a holiday set in 6 acres of private landscaped gardens and pastureland at the southern edge of the Peak District.

On the ground floor is a comfortable and cosy lounge with revealed stone walls and heavy beamed ceilings, and a wood burning stove - perfect for those colder evenings. A picture window overlooks the front garden and beautiful Derbyshire countryside beyond. The dining room, a beautiful room with beamed ceilings, oak floors and a magnificent inglenook fireplace holding a second wood burning stove is accessed from the lounge. All furniture is in antique pine, with a lovely hand-made chicken coop dresser as the feature of this light and airy room.

Off the dining room is Hillside's beamed farmhouse style kitchen. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, fitted with handmade pine units and a mixture of tiled and granite worktops with a French pottery sink.

On the 1st floor is a beautiful twin bedroom located close to the master bathroom, which has a luxurious roll top bath with shower mixer tap and a walk-in power shower, plus a WC.

The spacious master bedroom is also on the first floor with LCD TV and private en suite shower room and WC. Shallow stairs lead up to the second floor of the holiday cottage which has 3 further double bedrooms, one of which is accessed through another bedroom.

These double bedrooms also have 4 single beds within them which have been specially built to be accommodated under the sloping ceilings. One further bedroom has an LCD TV. The bedrooms are luxuriously fitted and furnished to a high standard with antique pine furniture and co-ordinated linen and upholstery.
