Traffic free cycling along the High Peak Trail or the Tissington Trail, two dismantled railways. Close to Hartington, Monyash and also Arbor Low, Derbyshire's most important prehistoric henge.
Parsley Hay (High Peak Trail)
Located near the junction of the High Peak Trail and the Tissington Trail.
Around 30 miles of traffic free cycling along the two trails. Toilets,
pay and display car park, souvenir shop in the visitor centre plus picnic
area,
refreshments and home made cakes. Parsley Hay was the junction of the Cromford
and High Peak Railway where the Ashbourne branch, connecting Ashbourne
and Buxton, joined.
