A Taste of the
Peak District
Peak District, Derbyshire tea shops, cafés and coffee shops …
Cycling and walking are popular pastimes in the Peak District probably because it has a wide variety of roads, paths and tracks that appeal to all abilities and types of cyclist, road or off road and satisfy walkers desires for short walks or long challenging walks. The area also caters extremely well for climbers and they are notorious for wanting a cuppa and a piece of cake after a hard day at the crag!
Refreshments.
Most outdoors enthusiasts will carry their own refreshments with them. But a flask of curdled tea and a squashed piece of chocolate cake going soggy in the rain isn't everyone's cup of tea, if you will excuse the pun. Sometimes, only a cafe or tea room will do. So here is a list of some of the places in the Peak District where you can get yourself a decent cuppa, hot chocolate or whatever.
