Darwin Lake (self-catering cottages)

Twelve cottages at Darwin Lake, close to Matlock on the edge of the Peak District National Park. An ideal base for exploring Derbyshire and convenient for Sherwood Forest as well. For those days when you don't feel like travelling, take a look at the local countryside, including our 10 acres of private woodlands.

Affordable luxury within our 4 star stone built two and three bedroom cottages, sleeping from 4 to 6/7 people.

All sleep 6. These new cottages for 2007 are built in stone and set in a row overlooking the lake area, for a really special treat they are freshly decorated and furnished to perfection.
