Courses and events for young people: We use the outdoors as a positive, experiential learning environment so that young people are able to achieve and succeed irrespective of their background or ability. Outdoor activities enable young people to gain new skills and interests and thus promote both self-confidence and the development of interpersonal skills; and as a consequence their self-esteem is enhanced. Thoughtful design and implementation of the activities enables young people to be empowered to make decisions; take responsibility; co-operate more fully with others; develop team-working skills and deal effectively with conflict, all of which benefits them in their day-to-day life and for years to come.

Rock Climbing ...
The Peak District has some of the finest grit stone and limestone climbing in Britain and is an ideal area for beginners and experienced alike to enjoy the thrill and challenge of rock climbing under safe and experienced guidance. See our web site for more information about rock climbing and the following activities.
Thrilling, challenging, exciting –that’s the only way to describe abseiling! Be it down a small rockface or the impressive Millers Dale Viaduct abseil.
Are you involved with a charitable organisation? Would you like to have a fun time and raise money? We can help you to organise a charity abseil. We can arrange an abseil at a variety of locations. In the past we have abseiled from office buildings in a city centre, a hospital and a viaduct.
Rock Scrambling Adventure ...
A great activity involving climbing up cliffs, squeezing through holes in rocks, being lowered down a rock face, bouldering, weasling and much more.
Venturing underground into the caves and caverns beneath the Peak District you will realise the scenery underground is as beautiful as it is above.
Mine Exploration ...
Lead Mining has been going on in the Peak District since Roman Times. Exploring the Lead Mines is like going back in time as they are packed full of history and interest. You can experience the conditions and the unique atmosphere that the miners used to work in only a century ago.
You can either choose an area that you would like to explore or leave all the planning to us. We can guarantee that whatever you choose there will be breathtaking views and scenery. So why not getaway from it all and leave the pressures of everyday life behind and head for the hills and dales of the Peak District.
Orienteering is a great activity for everybody. You can saunter round the courses at a leisurely pace or turn it into a competition and race around! A good way to improve your navigation and fitness and is popular with everybody.
Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme ...

The Peak district is easily accessible by road and rail
A variety of types and standards of accommodation are available in the peak district
Good choice of places to eat · Local transport and coach hire available

Bring a camera to capture the hen or stag enjoying their last single days!
Team Building – Problem Solving ...
We can design and deliver a variety of teambuilding and problem-solving exercise to meet a range of needs. These can be fun events for children, adults and families or a valuable development exercise for employees, apprentices and graduates.
Development Training ...
We can design and deliver a range of management development programmes. These can range from sessions for a day run completely outdoors to those lasting longer and incorporating some work indoors. We can also design a series of events over a period of time to allow for reflection and practice at work in between the outdoor sessions.
We spend time discussing the reasons why you want to use the outdoors and identifying your key success criteria. We use this information to “tailor-make” an event for you and your organisation (we do not have a standard “off the peg” package). We use the outdoors as the vehicle for whatever learning you have identified as needing developing. We run the event with skilled outdoor instructors and knowledgeable facilitators and will evaluate the event on the last activity. We can suggest follow up ideas to enable the “outdoor learning” to be embedded back in the workplace. We can come to your workplace to run half-day refresher events. We can conduct a post event evaluation exercise to meet your needs at an agreed time after the event.
