Overdale Cottage is a no smoking environment

Overdale is a one bedroom 200 year old former lead miner's cottage in the heart of the Peak District National Park. It is tucked away down a cobbled footpath on the side of Bradford Dale in the picturesque village of Youlgrave.This cottage is full of character with exposed beams and stonework , solid oak flooring, original gritstone fireplace with woodburning stove and gas central heating.Outside there is a raised gravelled garden with superb views over Bradford Dale and beyond complete with patio set and chiminea. The lounge is comfortably furnished with a woodburning stove and the usual mod cons. Opposite to the fully equipped kitchen is a small dining area. The double bedroom has outstanding views over Bradford Dale. There is a separate bathroom with shower over the bath. Youlgrave has a post office, small supermarket and a butcher's shop. There are three pubs all serving excellent food and a wide variety of beers and wines, including locally brewed ales.

There are superb walks straight from the door to Bradford Dale, Lathkill Dale, Elton, Over Haddon, Robin Hood's Stride and many more. Perfectly situated to explore the whole of the Peak District, and within easy reach of Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Bakewell and Matlock.
